Replacing K-feldspar with a siliceous solid by-product of zeolite industry for medium-temperature calcium matte glazes Issue 3, 2020

In the matte glaze layer, the length of the columnar wollastonite particles is oriented horizontally with the b-axis normal to the incident laser beam of Raman spectrometer (the left) resulting in a well-resolved Raman spectrum. In contrast, pure wollastonite without any specific orientation or parallel to the laser beam (the right) lead to poorly-resolved Raman bands.

Synthesis and characterization of BiOCl-CoWO4 nanocomposites with improved photocatalytic activity Issue 3, 2020

BiOCl-CoWO4 heterostructures were obtained via precipitation route for the first time. The prepared heterostructures was active for rhodamine B dye degradation under solar light. An effective transfer and separation of photo induced e-h+ pairs over BiOCl-CoWO4-1 heterostructure was demonstrated by PL and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies. h+, OH, O2∙− radicals were dominant oxidative species in the degradation pathways.
